Questions and answers
How is the price calculated?
The price is fixed per part class: simple — up to 25 dimensions on the sheet ($8), medium — 26–60 ($15), complex — a sheet with 4+ parts, a casting with 40+ dimensions, a scan or sketch with 60+, any sheet with 90+ ($25). You see the class and price on the order page together with the model — before paying. Assembly — new parts by their class + assembly $8 / $15 / $25 (up to 5 / 6–15 / 16+ parts), archive — each sheet by its class.
What does “done, with a question” mean?
The model is complete, but the drawing has a spot that reads two ways, or a contradiction (for example, the mass in the title block does not match the dimensions). We do not guess: we build both variants and ask you. You pick one on the order page.
What if the model doesn't match the drawing?
That is our mistake — we fix it free, as many times as needed. Changes that were not on the drawing — the first is free, further ones at the price of the work.
What format is the model in?
STEP opens in SolidWorks, Inventor, Fusion, FreeCAD, KOMPAS-3D and others; STL is for 3D printing. We checked STEP files in CAD: dimensions and mass match.
Where do my files go?
Processing runs on the Claude model (Anthropic, USA). We never publish your drawings; order files are kept for 180 days. If your drawings must not leave your country, tell us first.
Who is responsible for the result?
We are responsible for every dimension being checked and every ambiguity raised as a question. Your engineer does the final acceptance — everything needed for a quick check comes with the model.
